The Instructor Amplified

Every credible Head of Training has the same three private worries: their best instructors are stretched thin, their grading is inconsistent across the cadre, and the data their instructors generate dies in PDF reports the day after each session. This paper addresses each worry directly, framed for a workforce that is justifiably wary of "AI in the cockpit." It presents the iORCA module — 41 instructor observable behaviours, K-coefficient inter-rater reliability, calibration recommendations — and explains why concordance analysis is the missing measurement tool that turns instructors from a cost line into a measurable, improvable capability. A composite "Training Department C" case study tracks the change-management arc: initial scepticism, the first calibration insight that resonated, the unexpected use cases instructors invented themselves, and the productivity gain (~20% admin reduction targeted) that bought back instructor time for actual coaching.
